J’s Place Recovery Center and community partners are planning the 4th Annual HALL RECOVERS Night of Awareness Aug. 31, 6:30-8:30 at Roosevelt Square. The event, presented by Northeast Georgia Health System, is held on International Overdose Awareness Day and recognizes those lost as a result of substance use disorder and honors those in recovery.
Event planner Jordan Hussey, Executive Director of J’s Place Recovery Center, said, “The annual HALL RECOVERS event has made a powerful impact on our recovery community and family and friends of those we’ve lost. This year we will again feature speakers who represent all facets of those impacted by substance abuse. Individuals and advocates of recovery will be highlighted with the event culminating in a candlelight vigil recognizing loved ones we have lost.”
