Eight nonprofit organizations serving Hall County are among the recipients in the latest round of Jackson EMC (JEMC) Foundation grants.
They are Ferst Readers of Hall County, Georgia Mountains YMCA, Diamond in the Rough Youth Development, Inc., Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia, Inc., Comics Appreciation Project, Whispering Angels Youth Ranch, Bloom Enterprises of Georgia, Inc. (formerly Randy and Friends, Inc.), and Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
In addition, individual recipients of grants include one for “vehicle accessibility modifications” for a Hall County woman.
