Seven people were killed in a fiery crash in Jackson County Monday afternoon that closed I-85 northbound for several hours.
The state patrol says the chain-reaction accident happened shortly after 4:00, near the Georgia 98/Maysville Road exit when a tractor-trailer rear-ended a van.
The van was engulfed with flames and seven people in it were killed.
