Four people were taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville early Monday afternoon following a two-car accident in Habersham County. It happened about 12:15 on Georgia 15/Expressway 441 at Antioch Church Road.
HABERSHAM COUNTY NEWS RELEASE:
“…The collision occurred in the southbound lanes of Ga. 15 / Expressway 441,
with one vehicle traveling across the northbound lanes of Ga. 15 into the
grassy area near North Cobb Road. Debris covered lanes in both directions.
Habersham County Emergency Services personnel used tools to remove both
driver’s side doors on a passenger car to free that driver. That process took
about 10 minutes.
The two occupants of that car were taken by ambulance to Northeast
Georgia Medical Center Gainesville.
Each of the two occupants of the compact car near South Cobb Road was
taken by ambulance emergent to Northeast Georgia Medical Center
Gainesville…”
