Two people were seriously injured in a head-on collision in East Hall early Sunday. The state patrol issued a report on the accident late Monday.
GEORGIA STATE PATROL NARRATIVE:
“On June 30, 2024, at 7:00am, a Troopers were dispatched to a 2-vehicle crash on Joe Chandler Rd in Hall County.
…A 2004 Honda Element (Vehicle 1) was traveling north on Joe Chandler Rd. (and) a 1992 GMC Sonoma (Vehicle 2) was traveling south on Joe Chandler Rd.
The driver of the Honda Element failed to maintain his lane of travel, traveling into the southbound lane of Joe Chandler Rd. After doing so, the Honda Element struck the GMC Sonoma in the front with its front.
Both drivers were transported to the Northeast Georgia Medical Center for Serious Injuries.
The driver of the Honda Element was charged with Failure to Maintain Lane.”
