HALL CO. SHERIFF OFFICE NARRATIVES:
“Mario Alberto Molina, 25, of Gainesville faces several traffic charges following a weekend crash at the I-985 northbound off ramp to Exit 16.
Molina was attempting to take the exit when he drove across the gore and onto the grass shoulder, struck two GDOT signs and then left the scene of the crash on foot. An HCSO deputy found the abandoned vehicle at the scene with open containers of alcohol inside.
An investigation led the deputy to the owner of the vehicle, who in turn put the deputy in touch with Mr. Molina. After questioning, Mr. Molina was arrested on misdemeanor charges of leaving the scene of an accident/hit and run, failure to maintain lane, DUI-alcohol/less safe and open container violation.”
*(Also over the weekend) Ms. (Sheena Shanell) Poole side-swiped a vehicle on Gaines Mill Road, struck a power pole and then abandoned the crashed vehicle. The deputy was able to determine Ms. Poole’s address via the vehicle registration. He went to her residence and arrested her for leaving the scene of an accident/hit and run.”
