2 injured in wreck that closed part of 365 for almost 2 hours

A morning rush-hour accident on Ga. 365 Monday left two people with minor injuries and closed a section of the road for almost two hours.

One motorist was traveling northbound on 365 and was making a left turn onto Lula Road when she pulled into the path of the second vehicle, which was southbound on the busy four-lane, according to B.J. Williams, spokeswoman for the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.

Williams added that one driver suffered an injury to one of her hands and was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center for treatment. The second sustained a burn from the deployment of her airbag; she was treated at the scene.

Both vehicles sustained heavy damage as a result of the collision.
