The first phase of the widening of Georgia 211 between Gainesville and Winder is scheduled for opening Friday. This includes the dual lane roundabouts, the state Department of Transportation (GDOT) said Monday.
In addition, the northbound I-85 on-off ramps’ signals will be activated.
The $27.5 million project is opening ahead of schedule, GDOT says.
