HCSO NARRATIVE:
“A Murrayville man has been charged with misdemeanor statutory rape in an incident that occurred last summer.
David Alexander Horne, 18, remains in the Hall County Jail with no bond following his arrest Tuesday, February 10, 2026.
According to the investigation conducted by the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) Criminal Investigations Bureau (CIB), Horne and the victim, a girl under the age of 16, had sexual intercourse at a location in the 4100 block of Nopone Road on Aug. 3, 2025. The victim and her mother reported the incident to school officials on Aug. 18.
Horne was charged following processing of his cell phone and analysis of his social media accounts. He was arrested at his residence without incident by HCSO Warrant Service Unit deputies.”
