Plans are in the works for an 18-acre truck terminal on the southside of Gainesville at Athens Highway and Athens Street.
The Hall County Planning Commission (HCPC) is scheduled to hear a request next month to rezone the tract from Agricultural Residential IV (R-IV), Highway Business (H-B), and Residential-II (R-II) to Highway Business (H-B).
Also, on the agenda for the Sept. 16 meeting are a rezoning request for ten acres on White Sulphur Road at Old Cornelia Highway where an agricultural market is planned and a request from Milton Martin Toyota for a half-acre site on Atlanta Highway at Milton Martin Way. The company wants the rezoning in order to use the property for additional parking.
