The Lula Planning Commission will hold a hearing next month on a rezoning request that could lead to a 100-unit residential development in the 6100 block of Athens Street.
The Revive Land Group, LLC seeks to rezone the property that consists of 32.5 acres from Agricultural (A) to Planned Residential Development (PRD) to develop up to 100 lots and amenities consisting of trails, a park, a community area, a pool, a cabana, and a dog park.
The applicant is also asking for variances to reduce the side setback from 10 feet to 7.5 feet and “encroach upon the exterior perimeter buffer” to grade and replant the buffer.
The planning commission will meet Oct. 7.
