Woodard’s motion to quash; Dubnik to co-chair of sportsmen’s group; UPDATE: Animal cruelty case

*The attorney for Hall County State Court Solicitor General Stephanie Woodard says that because the statute of limitations on them has expired, four of the charges in an indictment against his client should be quashed. Noah Pines filed a motion to that effect with the court. Woodard was indicted last month on 24 charges, including giving false statements and theft by taking. *Hall County officials say the dog that was at the center of a recent case of animal cruelty has a new home. “The dog in the matter was impounded and adopted from our shelter,” spokeswoman Joy Holmes said Friday.
