The GBI has arrested and charged Celia Savage, 34, of Habersham County following a joint drug investigation by the GBI Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office (ARDEO), the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms, and the GBI Special Enforcement Team.
Savage is facing 13 charges, most drug related, although weapons charges are also included after authorities say they found more than 40 guns in raids on two houses in Habersham. The drugs are valued at almost $12,000.
The charges are:
- Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute Bureau
- Possession of Fentanyl with Intent to Distribute
- Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute
- Possession of Xanax with Intent to Distribute
- Possession of Lortab with Intent to Distribute
- Possession of Tramadol with Intent to Distribute
- Possession of Amphetamine with Intent to Distribute
- Possession of Clonazepam with Intent to Distribute
- Possession of Oxycodone with Intent to Distribute
- Possession of Psilocybin with Intent to Distribute
- Possession of THC Concentrates with Intent to Distribute
- Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
- Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Crime
The GBI says that earlier this month search warrants were executed at two homes in Cornelia related to an ongoing drug investigation. As a result of the investigation, police seized the following items:
- Approximately 2 pounds of marijuana (street value of about $10,000)
- Approximately 1 gram of fentanyl (street value of about $150)
- Approximately 4 grams of methamphetamine (street value of about $250)
- Approximately 30 grams of psilocybin (street value of about $500)
- Approximately 5 grams of THC concentrates
- Approximately 75 pills including Xanax, Lortab, Tramadol, Oxycodone, Amphetamine, Alprazolam, and Clonazepam.
- 42 guns
Savage is currently being held at the Habersham County Jail.
