Winning ticket from Powerball drawing sold in Dawsonville

Though the winning $842 million ticket was sold in Michigan, there were also winning tickets sold in Georgia for Monday night’s Powerball drawing.

The Georgia Lottery said Tuesday two $150,000 tickets were sold in Georgia, one in McDonough and the other in Warner Robins.

Tickets worth $50,000 each were purchased in Macon, Atlanta and in Dawsonville. The latter was sold at Harmony Church Chevron on Georgia 400.
