Meanwhile, though it is not in the affected area, Barrow County has suspended issuing burn permit until further notice “due to current fire danger levels.” The Barrow County Fire Marshal’s Office says it will “reevaluate the fire danger level” on Thursday “after the expected rainfall occurs.”
