Wildfire aid; Injured bicyclists

* A middle Georgia church is helping south Georgia wildfire victims. Macon’s Lizella Baptist Church is collecting food, clothing, and cleaning supplies to send. The Salvation Army and Red Cross are also providing support. NBC reports more than 120 homes destroyed as of Sunday, but no reports of lives lost.   Meanwhile, Glynn County (Brunswick) issues a voluntary evacuation order. It comes as the Brantley County fire grows to 20,000+ acres. Officials want people to have time to plan in case the Brantley County fire continues to shift.  

*Police are charging a Cobb County driver after his vehicle hit two bicycle riders. Bicyclist Richard Collins tells ANF-TV the driver, with his horn blaring, tried to go around Collins’ group of ten riders. Collins has minor injuries including road rash. Cobb County authorities are charging Jerry Ross with striking the pair. Charges include aggravated assault.
