We now know a little more about the recent resignation of Hall County Administrator Zach Propes.
During the public comment portion of Tuesday’s county commission work session, which was streamed on this website, it was disclosed that Propes stepped down in lieu of termination.
And we learned that his contract with the county called for a 12-month severance package. But still unclear is why he was faced with being fired.
His resignation was effective earlier this month. Propes announced his plans to resign in early April.
