*Five people were injured, none seriously Sunday afternoon, in a wreck at the intersection of Browns Bridge Road and Keith Bridge Road. The state patrol says it happened about 4:30 when one vehicle pulled from Keith Bridge into the path of another which was headed west on Browns Bridge.
*Caroline Pope was crowned Belle of the Ball at Saturday night’s annual Charity Ball sponsored by the Junior League of Gainesville-Hall County. It’s a fundraiser for the League’s charities. Organizers say the Belle candidates raised $375,000 this year. Pope was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Gainesville.
