Vehicle ‘rolls’ several times, driver unhurt; trailer-vehicle crash

There were no injuries in two accidents investigated by the Hall County Sheriff’s Office Wednesday morning – one involving a vehicle that overturned several times. It occurred about 10:45 in South Hall

“(Vidal Armando Lagares) was traveling on Poplar Springs Road when he lost control of his vehicle and it traveled off the roadway near Pierce Drive,” sheriff’s office spokeswoman B.J. Williams said. “The vehicle rolled over multiple times coming to rest upside down in the northbound lane of the road.”

Williams said Lagares was not injured and was cited for not driving on the right side of the roadway and speeding.

The other occurred a few hours earlier on Old Cornelia Highway at Lula Road.

Williams said Jaleel Carlroy Gillon was headed north on Old Cornelia when a tire on a trailer he was towing blew out.

The trailer shifted into the other lane and struck Phillips’s vehicle. Neither driver was injured.
