TUESDAY UPDATE:
The White County Commission Monday approved six-month moratoriums on new applications for convenience stores, vape shops and CBD stores. Also approved, according to WRWH, was a moratorium on new commercial development on the Helen Highway (Georgia 75) from Hulsey Road to state highway 17. These actions were taken after the county recently was served at a single time with applications for five new gas stations/convenience stores.
