A pedestrian escaped with only minor injuries after he was hit by a pickup on I-985 Saturday night.
GEORGIA STATE PATROL NARRATIVE:
“On Saturday February 17, 2024, at 8:00PM, Troopers responded to a vehicle vs pedestrian crash on I-985 northbound north of Athens Street.
A 2021 Dodge Ram driven by Haralambros Spentzos age 46 from Otto NC was travelling north on I-985 in the right lane when a pedestrian Brian Bishop aged 38 from Oakwood tried crossing the northbound lane of I-985. The front right of the Dodge Ram struck Mr. Bishop. The Dodge Ram had no visible damage.
Mr. Bishop was transported to NEGA Medical Center in Gainesville for minor visible injuries.”
