UPDATE: New info on case against rape fugitive

As the search continues for a Gainesville man wanted for raping a young girl, the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) has released new information on the case against him.

HCSO NARRATIVE:

“Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) investigators have obtained arrest warrants for a Gainesville man on charges of rape and child molestation and now hope the community can help provide information on his whereabouts.

Investigators secured the warrants on Monday, April 8, for Andres Alonzo Perez, 31.

According to the preliminary investigation, Alonzo Perez committed the crimes against the female victim, who is under the age of 10, at a residence in South Hall County on the evening of Saturday, March 30. Alonzo Perez, who knew the victim prior to the abuse, fled from the residence on foot after the incident. A family member of the victim reported the crimes to deputies on the evening they occurred.

Alonzo Perez is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall and 165 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and his hair may be cut in a mohawk style. Alonzo Perez also sometimes wears facial hair.
