UPDATE: Minor injuries in Ga. 52 wreck that knocked out power

The state patrol says there were no serious injuries in that wreck in the Gillsville area Saturday night that occurred when a car struck a utility pole at Georgia 52 and Hooper Road. But it did take about 12 hours to completely reopen highway 52, according to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO).

GEORGIA STATE PATROL NARRATIVE:

“On Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 6:00 pm, Troopers from Post 6 Gainesville responded to a single vehicle crash on GA 52 in Hall County.

A Chevrolet Cobalt was traveling west on GA 52, left the roadway, and struck a power pole.

The driver sustained minor injuries and was not transported. “
