Water tank levels in Lula have begun to stabilize after two weeks of strain, with pressures returning closer to normal across the system, city officials say.
They credit customer conservation efforts for helping improve conditions. “Thanks to the water customers conserving water. This has been a big help and is much appreciated,” they said in a statement released on social media.
Another update is expected Friday afternoon.
Residents are urged to report leaks immediately to city hall at 770-869-3801 to prevent further issues.
In the meantime, the boil water advisory remains in effect.
