9:15 A.M. SATURDAY UPDATE:
The closing of Brenau Avenue has been extended a few more days. City officials now say it is not expected to reopen until Wednesday morning.
The street was closed all this week for resurfacing and was scheduled to reopen this weekend. That work will be continuing. This will be the third time it has been closed between Bradford and Green streets in the past four weeks. The first time was for stormwater and waterline work.
