UPDATE: Experience history up close at Lyman Hall Day

Hall County officials have posted new details about Lyman Hall Day which is coming up Friday at the government center:

Join us for live demonstrations and interactive displays with the ๐’๐จ๐ง๐ฌ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ƒ๐š๐ฎ๐ ๐ก๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐€๐ฆ๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐œ๐š๐ง ๐‘๐ž๐ฏ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง as we honor Dr. Lyman Hall, a signer of the Declaration of Independence and Hall County’s namesake.

The Sons and Daughters of the American Revolution will have interactive exhibits, including their โ€œTraveling Trunksโ€ filled with Revolutionary-era artifacts and historic flags. The Sons of the American Revolution will march the Hall County Government Center grounds and perform a ceremonial three-gun salute every 20 minutes (blanks only; no live ammunition).

This event will also include free King of Pops popsicles, while supplies last, complimentary Hall County swag, and a chance to win a 250th commemorative T-shirt. Other refreshments will be available for purchase.
