*A 20-year-old man who was arrested Christmas Eve on child sex charges remained in the Hall County Jail without bond Friday afternoon. Ludvin Osvile Lopez-Perez (pictured) is charged with Child Molestation and two counts of Statutory Rape. Gainesville Police spokesman Kevin Holbrook said Friday in releasing details of the case that Lopez-Perez “allegedly had sexual intercourse with a 12-year-old female he knew or had relationship with. *For the second time in a week, Hall County authorities recently found themselves investigating an accidental shooting. A spokeswoman for the sheriff’s office confirmed Friday that the latest incident occurred in the 7500 block of Woody Springs Drive in Flowery Branch early Saturday morning. “A man was cleaning his handgun and accidentally pulled the trigger, shooting himself in one of his pinky fingers,” B.J. Williams said. “Deputies took the report at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Braselton, where a family member had driven the man for treatment to his finger.” The earlier incident occurred Dec. 22 in North Hall.
