U P D A T E: New details about arrest of man on 28 theft & elder abuse charges

The case belongs to Oakwood Police and Tuesday new details about the arrest which occurred over the holiday weekend were provided in this NARRATIVE:

“We originally arrested Larry Dalton for the probation violation warrant that was issued by his probation officer. During that investigation we made contact with an elderly victim who told us that Larry Dalton had conned him out of approximately $3,000 worth of food, purchase of a used vehicle, and car parts. 

We took multiple Financial Elder Abuse charges and Theft by Deception charges.”

EARLIER STORY:

A 60-year-old man was charged Saturday with 14 counts of Theft by Deception and 14 counts of Exploit/Inflict Pain/Elder/Resident Person. He’s also charged with Probation Violation and was being held on bonds totaling $79,800 as late as mid-morning Sunday.
