Two students injured in middle Ga. school shooting

7:00 P.M. WEDNESDAY UPDATE:

A shooting at Warner Robins High School left two students injured Wednesday afternoon, according to the Houston County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities said one student sustained a gunshot wound and another was also hurt during the incident. Both were taken to a local hospital and were reported to be in stable condition with injuries that were not life‑threatening. Officials have not released the identities of the students or details about what led to the shooting.

A suspect was taken into custody about 4:00, and Houston County Sheriff Matt Moulton said the scene was secured shortly afterward.

Moulton said at a news conference that the shooting grew out of a dispute about 2:00 among students in a rest room at the school.
