Two men who were arrested last summer after more than 700 pounds of methamphetamine was found hidden in a tractor-trailer load of cucumbers outside a warehouse in Gainesville have pleaded guilty and been sent to federal prison.
Rufino Pineda-Perez, 61, of Mexico, and Andres Jasso, Jr., 39, of Brookhaven were sentenced to 15 years to be followed by ten years of supervised release.
Pineda-Perez also pleaded guilty to illegal reentry by a previously removed alien.
