The motorcycle continued to the intersection of Demorest-Mt. Airy Highway, where it turned and began traveling north on Ga. 365 at very high rates of speed, initiating the pursuit.

The motorcycle continued north on Ga. 365 into the construction zone at Hulsey Road.

The motorcycle turned right onto Hulsey Road then right on Dicks Hill Parkway before turning left onto Ayersville Road near Hazel Grove Elementary School.

Once on Ayersville Road, the motorcycle turned around just past Ben Loudermilk Road and headed back toward Dicks Hill Parkway.

Two Habersham County Sheriff’s Office patrol vehicles were damaged during separate incidents on Ayersville Road…

The motorcycle continued to flee on Dicks Hill Parkway, Rock Road, Antioch Church Road, and Talmadge Drive entering Stephens County.

Habersham County and Stephens County deputies continued to pursue the motorcycle into and through Toccoa, crossing Ga. 365 at Jeanette Jamieson Intersection, where Habersham County units called off the pursuit.

Stephens County deputies and the Georgia State Patrol continued to pursue the motorcycle on Dick’s Hill Parkway toward Habersham County, losing contact with it.

Stephens County deputies and the Georgia State Patrol located the motorcycle off Ben Loudermilk Road and after a manhunt with K-9 units and a drone took the man into custody without further incident.

The man was arrested and taken to the Stephens County Jail. He faces charges from Stephens County, Habersham County, and the George State Patrol for Thursday night’s incidents, as well as the three counties where he already was facing outstanding warrants.
