*The Gainesville Trolley Service’s season is ending Saturday. The service is available each Spring and Summer but takes the Fall and Winter off except special events. Keep an eye out for details about those in the coming months.
*Lanier Tech’s Adult Education (GED) program recently held its Annual High School Equivalency Graduation. There were 325 of graduates this year. Among them, the Student of the Year, Olabisi Gandonu, who will now compete for the state Student of the Year award, along with Lanier Tech’s Teacher of the Year, Debra Thomas, who will compete for the state honor in that category.
