Things will be bit more crowded this week in the Chestnut Mountain area as drivers, crews and fans descend on Road Atlanta for the 10-hour Petit LeMans endurance race at Road Atlanta.
That will take place on Saturday but there will be plenty of reasons for die-hard fans to show up before then, especially after Wednesday.
We’ve not heard from the sheriff’s office so far about what it may be doing to combat extra traffic in the area, but for the past few years, deputies have set up detours at certain times of the day on certain days.
