Drug trafficking arrests; holiday BUI update

*At least three people were arrested Sunday on drug trafficking and other charges, according to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO). Drugs mentioned in the arrest reports include Methamphetamine, Marijuana, and cocaine. The suspects are a 37-year-old man, an 18-year-old woman, and a 32-year-old man.

Other charges include Theft by Receiving Property Stolen in Another State, Interference with Government Property, Resisting Arrest, Trespassing, and Giving False Information to a Police Officer.

Not all charges relate to each of the suspects. Each was still in the Hall County Jail at mid-morning Monday. Bonds range from $2,600 to $8,650.

*The state Department of Natural Resources (DNR) reported Monday that there were three BUI arrests made on Lake Lanier Sunday, bringing to four the number of such arrests on Lanier for the holiday weekend. Statewide, 13 have been made since midnight Friday.

No other information on any of these cases is expected until law enforcement administrative offices reopen Tuesday following the holiday weekend.
