*The state Agriculture Department and sheriff’s offices in Pierce, Wayne, and Long counties have concluded an eight-month investigation into the sale of illegal THC products in those areas. This has resulted in the arrest of several Yemeni Nationals and the seizure of a large quantity of illegal THC products. Officers from the participating agencies, simultaneously served search warrants at four different retail smoke shops in Blackshear, Jesup, and Ludowici.
*An 18-year-old man is facing murder charges after a woman’s dismembered remains were found at a Smyrna apartment complex. Officials say the remains were discovered Wednesday night at the Park Valley Apartments. Investigators believe the victim is Shanteria Mosley, but are awaiting DNA confirmation. Authorities say Kingston Bradley, who lives at the complex, is charged with malice murder and concealing the death of another.
*An off-duty Atlanta detective has been accused of stealing a case of beer from a grocery store and using an undercover police vehicle to escape. Ronald Sluss allegedly took a 12-pack of beer from a Publix in Canton and was caught on surveillance video. The store manager followed Sluss outside, where he photographed the undercover police vehicle. He was arrested at his home and has been place on leave in a non-enforcement role while the police department conducts an internal investigation.
