This ‘n’ that from here ‘n’ there: Braselton, Lula, Hall County, the State Capitol

*The Braselton Visitors Bureau is looking for a full-time tourism director.

*Lula has ended its lengthy search for an assistant city manager. Fred Ethridge, most recently city manager in Porterdale, Georgia, assumes the post March 1. His resume’ includes stints in local government in Habersham and Jackson counties.

*The Murrayville Compactor Site will be closed Jan. 17-18 for paving and resurfacing. In the meantime, suggested alternates are the Wauka Mountain and Sardis Road compactor sites.

*Hall County Library officials announced this week that the new East Hall branch will be located adjacent to the East Hall Community Center. In addition, they plan a number of focus group meetings “to help design our new library.”
