*Two men in their 20s remained in the Hall County Jail at mid-morning Saturday following their arrests Friday night on street racing charges. Yaul Kevin Martinez, 22, and Eric Uriel Nunez, 23, were arrested about 10:30, according to jail records.
*Robbery by pickpocket and hit-and-run are among the charges facing Joseph Wayne Sammons, 29, who was arrested Friday afternoon. He’s also charged with cruelty to children, battery, criminal damage, aggravated assault, and reckless driving. He was being held Saturday morning on $7,000 bond on two of the charges and no bond the others.
*42-year-old Sidney James Woods has been charged with aggravated battery and tampering with evidence. He was being held without bond on both following his arrest about 3:30 Friday morning.
Further information on each of these is not likely until Monday when local law enforcement administrative offices reopen following the weekend.
