As of early Sunday afternoon, these were among the things found on police and jail logs in Gainesville from Saturday and Sunday:
*A smash-and-grab burglary that was reported to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office at a Friendship Road business Saturday morning about 6:00. It is believed to have occurred between 3:30 a.m. and the time it was reported…
*A 28-year-old man, Tyler Jacob Jones, was booked into the Hall County Jail, charged with trafficking in illegal drugs…
*And, 50-year-old Jason Steve Cole is being held for on charges of arson in the first degree, vandalism, battery and probation violation.
Additional information will not likely be available until Monday at the earliest when local law enforcement administrative offices reopen following the weekend.
