Five non-profit organizations serving Hall County are getting a share of $40,000 in grants from the Jackson EMC Foundation in the organization’s latest round of grants.
They are Gainesville Housing Corporation, the University of North Georgia Foundation ($10,000 each), Gwinnett United in Drug Education, Latina Leads, the Quinlan Visual Arts Center, and the University of Georgia School of Medicine $5,000 each).
The foundation’s latest Operation Round-Up grants for non-profits in the electric co-op’s service area total $85,000.
