A 28-year-old man facing charges filed by three local law enforcement agencies remained in the Hall County Jail late Thursday morning in lieu of bonds totaling $17,150.
Gainesville Police say Ivory DeShaun Young, who was arrested Wednesday, is suspected of taking a vehicle that did not belong to him from the employee parking lot of Koch Foods.
“Vehicle, with suspect inside, was located a short time later in the parking lot of a hotel in Flowery Branch,” a spokeswoman wrote in an email. “He was suspected to be under the influence of an unknown substance. Officers arrested him on scene.”
A spokeswoman for the Hall County Sheriff’s Office says that agency as well as Flowery Branch Police have also filed charges against Young.
Jail records show the six charges facing him are theft by taking a motor vehicle, theft by receiving a stolen vehicle, loitering or prowling, DUI, resisting arrest, and driving with an invalid license.
