Six charged with Barrow Co. murder

Six Winder residents, ages 17 to 34, have been charged by the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) with murder in the death of a Winder man.

BCSO NEWS RELEASE:

Barrow County deputies responded to 1419 Red Oak Way in Winder on Monday Tuesday at approximately 2:10 pm to a report of robbery and assault.

Upon their arrival, deputies located the unconscious victim, Casey Lotrail Watts, 40, of White Plains, Georgia. Deputies immediately began performing CPR, and the victim was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

During the course of the investigation, it was determined that the original incident occurred at 1651 White Oak Way in Winder.

The following individuals were arrested at the scene:

Shurita Lashay Davis, 34
Ezion Tymere Edwards, 19
Robert John Arnold, 20

Michavius Luis Mayweather, 20

Antrevion Gary-Hill, 17
Jamarion Floyd Lewis, 21

All are being held in the Barrow County Detention Center, each charged with one count of each of the following Murder, Aggravated Assault. and Party to a Crime.”

No information was released on a possible motive.
