UPDATE. POSTED 1:30 P.M. MONDAY: Flowery Branch Police Monday released a few more details about last Wednesday’s shooting on Clarkstone Circle. Spokesman Christopher Compton said the shooting occurred during “the alleged robbery.” Compton further added that the incidents are said to have occurred during a meet-up to sell an item. No one was injured. The motive, if known, was not revealed.
FLOWERY BRANCH POLICE DEPT. NEWS RELEASE:
“(Wednesday) officers with the Flowery Branch Police
Department served an Arrest Warrant and subsequent Search Warrant in
the 4000 block of Clarkstone Circle in connection to an investigation into a
shooting that had occurred the day before.
Arrested was Jody Tai’Shun Perry,18, Flowery Branch.
While conducting the search warrant, several handguns. some suspected
marijuana, and drug-related objects were located.
Perry was charged with:
Armed Robbery
Possession of a Firearm During Commission of a Crime
Possession of a Schedule 1 Drug
Possession of Marijuana
Possession of Marijuana with Intent
Possession of Drug Related Objects
No other details were immediately available.
