Governor Brian Kemp’s office recently announced 44 appointments and reappointments to various state boards, authorities, and commissions – and several Gainesville area residents were included.
*Kimberly Waters and Angela Whidby were reappointed to the Gainesville-based Georgia Mountains Regional Commission Council.
*Philip Wilheit, Jr., was reappointed to the Georgia Ports Authoritiy.
*A Dawson County woman, Seanie Zappendorf, will serve as the consumer member on the State Board of Podiatry Examiners.
*And James Weidner, a Clarkesville attorney, was reappointed to the Georgia Superior Court Clerks’ Authority.
