A Commerce woman was seriously injured in a three-vehicle accident south of Gainesville at Candler Road and Lee Land Road Monday afternoon, according to a report released Thursday by the state patrol.
Thao Shoua, 28, was one of the drivers and was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville for treatment. The other two drivers suffered minor injuries.
Shoua’s car, the investigating trooper’s report says, was struck in the front by a tire that came off one of the other vehicles.
The trooper says the accident was caused when one of the drivers turned into the path of another.
