It’s back to the polls in Georgia Tuesday for General Election primary runoffs.
Though no statewide votes are scheduled there are numerous elections planned for local and congressional offices including two in Hall County.
David Gibbs and incumbent Richard Higgins are vying for county commission chairman in a Republican Primary runoff and Andy Maddox and Tripp Wingate are running in a non-partisan race for a State Court judgeship being given up by John Breakfield. Breakfield was elected May 21 to a Superior Court judgeship being vacated at the end of the year by the retiring Kathleen Gosselin.
You must vote for the same party in the run-off as you did in the primary unless you voted a non-partisan ballot. In this case you must indicate a party preference for your run-off ballot. If you failed to vote in the primaries May 21, you are still eligible to vote in either party’s Run-off Election and the General Election.
Early voting ended Friday.
97.5 Glory FM will have coverage of the runoffs starting at 7:00 Tuesday night on this website.
