Roswell woman, son abducted but found okay in Forsyth Co.

(FROM GEORGIA NEWS NEWORK) – A mother and her child, the objects of a Levi’s Call issued by Roswell Police Tuesday night, are safe following an early Wednesday morning police chase in Forsyth County.

Authorities issued that alert when Ashley Vick and four-year-old Tanner Germain were considered endangered.

Officers ended up arresting Vick’s partner after the chase. The mother and son are both okay, but police originally said both were believed to have been “in extreme danger,” according to AtlantaNewsFirst.

The GBI issued a Levi’s Call, Georgia’s Amber Alert, at the request of Roswell Police about 12:30 Wednesday morning after they were reportedly abducted about 6:00 Tuesday night by 40-year-old Brian Thomas Betenia.

Police said the boy and his mother were found safe around 1:00 Wednesday morning and that Betenia was taken into custody by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office after the brief chase.
