Dr. Robert Daniel officially assumed the presidency of Riverside Preparatory Academy Friday.
The passing of the school’s flag to Dr. Daniel took place in a ceremony on McGinnis Field at the Gainesville school.
Daniel was Riverside’s Executive Vice President for nine years before being named president earlier this summer. He has been with the school for a quarter century.

He’s Dr. Robert Brittain “Britt” Daniel, who currently services as Executive Vice-President, a post he’s held the past nine years. Daniel has been with Riverside more than 25 years.
