Despite some areas of north Georgia receiving a bit of rain overnight, it will quickly dry out today in the wake of a cold front – and that means no letting the guard down when it comes to the fire danger, according to the weather service.
In fact, it has increased some, so, forecasters have issued a Red Flag Warning for a north Georgia which extends well into south Georgia for noon to 8:00, due to windy and dry conditions, with further expansion southeast possible.
