Proactive stance on data centers; Winning lottery ticket

 *The White County Planning Commission will be addressing the issue of data centers within the next 30 days. WRWH reports the county commission made the announcement during a meeting Monday, although the county has not received any inquiries about locating one in the county. Commission chairman Travis Turner is quoted as saying “we are planning ahead if a data center would want to come to White County, it’s going to have to go where we as a community want it to go.” 

*A Cumming resident won $20,000 recently playing the Georgia Lottery’s Georgia Wild Star Mega Jackpot Diggi Game. And in middle Georgia, a player in Warner Robins won a two-million-dollar top prize playing the VIP Platinum scratcher.
