An Oakwood man remained in the Hall County Jail early Wednesday afternoon following his arrest early Friday in connection with a domestic incident in which police say he violently attacked his teenage son more than once.
OAKWOOD POLICE NEWS RELEASE:
“…Officers responded to…the Jameson Inn in reference to a physical domestic dispute.
Upon arrival, Officers made contact with a juvenile (16 years of age), along with a witness, Jessica Wood.
Jessica Wood appeared highly intoxicated and was argumentative with officers. Jessica told officers that she recorded the incident and provided the video to them.
The video showed Jessica Wood initially engaged in a verbal argument with the juvenile. Shortly after, the juvenile’s father, identified as Caprice Neals, 51, of Oakwood entered the room and began arguing with the juvenile. Caprice Neals was observed getting in the juvenile’s face and repeatedly asking if the juvenile was going to hit him while removing his jacket.
During the argument, the juvenile made a statement insulting his father. Caprice Neals then demanded the juvenile repeat the statement. After the juvenile repeated the statement, Caprice Neals began striking the juvenile multiple times with closed fists to the head, neck, and face. While striking the juvenile, Caprice Neals was heard making threats, including stating that he was going to kill the juvenile.
As a result of the assault, the juvenile sustained visible injuries, including swelling and bruising to the head and face.
Neals fled the scene prior to Officers’ arrival at the scene” but having seen what was on the video, they got arrest warrants for, and he was later arrested and charged with:

*TERRORISTIC THREATS AND ACTS
*CRUELTY TO CHILDREN 1ST DEGREE
